Pittie Clothing Case Study
Pittie Clothing makes pajamas and apparel designed specifically for pit bulls — built on a mission to destigmatize the breed and celebrate the bond between pit bull owners and their dogs. Founded and run by a single solopreneur, the brand had a passionate, niche community and a growing product line.
GrowthHit ran a full CRO program alongside Meta and Google paid ads — systematically fixing every stage of the funnel while scaling acquisition at an efficient CPA.

What Pittie Clothing Needed
Lessons from helping Pittie Clothing grow
The niche was never the problem. Here's what the data showed us.
Niche brands don't need mass appeal. They need the right 1% of the internet.
Pittie Clothing isn't for everyone — and that's the point. Pit bull owners are one of the most passionate, community-driven customer bases in DTC. The CPA numbers ($11 Meta, $11 Google in peak months) aren't achievable despite the niche. They're achievable because of it. When your audience has strong identity alignment with your brand, acquisition costs drop, repeat purchase rates climb, and word-of-mouth compounds. GrowthHit didn't try to broaden the targeting. We went deeper into the community — and the performance followed.
The solopreneur problem isn't strategy. It's execution bandwidth.
The founder knew what the site needed. She'd identified the right tests — shop by print, matching set upsells, size guides. What she didn't have was time. The GrowthHit CRO program closed that gap: the Shop by Print homepage test drove a 19% purchase CVR lift and 55.77% revenue increase in the variant. The PDP upsell and size guide pushed purchase CVR from 3.39% to 4.29% — past the brand's stated goal. These weren't insights the founder lacked. They were executions she couldn't get to. That's the real job of a CRO partner for a solopreneur brand.
AOV and CVR move together when the tests are designed correctly.
The brand's goal was explicit: 4% CVR and $75 AOV. Most CRO programs treat those as separate problems. GrowthHit ran them in parallel — homepage and collection page tests driving CVR, cart upsell and PDP upsell tests driving AOV. Cart AOV moved from $58.23 to $63.54 (+9.12%). CVR crossed 4% with the Shop by Print homepage winner. Neither result came at the expense of the other. Structuring the test roadmap around both KPIs simultaneously is what made both move.
