The Best Digital Marketing Courses for Anyone Looking to Grow a Startup
12 of the Best Digital Marketing Courses for People that Want to Run Their Own Growth Team.
Got any recommendations for good digital marketing courses?
This question comes up a bunch when I am teaching marketing workshops or mentoring startups.
While there isn’t just one digital marketing course, workshop or class that covers everything. There is a handful that will give you a good foundation in digital marketing and help you you learn the skills to run your own growth team.
As an experienced digital marketer, I have become accustomed to constantly taking new online courses because the digital landscape is always changing and new platforms/tools are emerging.
Plus, my skills become outdated every time the Facebook Ad Manager launches a new update.
As a marketer, I always set a goal to always add new skills to my skillset – this is easier said than done. I am particularly interested in technical marketing, conversion through customer-based marketing and writing marketing copy with a foundation in behavioral economics.
But, what are the best courses for people that want to run their own growth team?
Below is a list of the best digital marketing courses or online videos for anyone looking to up their marketing game and run a growth team. Some are free and some are not. I have listed them by category.

What digital marketing course is right for you?
How do you know which one to take? If you’re running a growth team then it’s good to know a little bit about all of the channels you’re going to manage. You don’t have to be an expert but you should know the basics so you can determine how a channel is performing. If that’s your situation then take the courses on the ones you know very little about but will have to manage. If you’re looking to go deeper on a certain channel then do the one you already know. It’ll help confirm what you already know and you might be able to extract a helpful pointer or two.
