My Failed Attempt at Being an Influencer

Growth Marketing

We bought a brand, Neat – sweat-proof clothes. Follow along to see how we’re growing it. SEE ALL THE UPDATES HERE.

Sometimes being a founder means being in awkward situations.

For me, that’s being on camera.

But, when budget is limited. It’s time get creative.

Here is me doing the water balloon test for our brand, Neat Apparel.

What’s the Water Balloon Test?

We want to show people that our sweat-proof shirt work. Seriously, they work! And the best way to do that is with a product demo. We shouldn’t just tell people, we should show people!

Enter one purple water balloon, my Neat shirt, and a tripod.

Pop! Goes the Water Balloon

You can pop this water balloon under your shirt and it won’t leak through. You can see how the water gets absorbed on the inside and not on the outside.

(Hopefully, that’s clear even with my spotty camera work!)

Want to Be an Influencer?

Do you want to be an influencer for us? Can you do better? (You probably can.). DM me and I will send you a free shirt and a water balloon. We’ll feature the best demos on our social media channels.
